I Go to Canterlot High Chapter 9

Last time on I Go to Canterlot High... Maud Pie dropped Brandon and Sunset Shimmer off in Station Circle, and told them that she would be picking them up in front of Sparkle Park at 8:00 PM. Maud then drove away. Sunset Shimmer then said that the city is beautiful, and wondered what they could do first. She then pointed out the beach in the distance, and a man walked by and told them that it's called Gemstone Coast. He then told them that there's a lighthouse over there and that you can even watch Orcas. Sunset Shimmer then said that they should go, and Brandon asked the man if he knows how to get to Gemstone Coast, and he told them to go into the Train Station and through the back doors and past the swimming pool. Sunset Shimmer then pulled Brandon with her to the Train Station and went through the back doors and eventually went into Gemstone Coast. When they got out there, Sunset Shimmer said how beautiful it is, and Brandon said how it's an Azure Blue World. Sunset Shimmer said that's a perfect name for it, and asked what she would do without him, and Brandon tells her that Without him, She probably would have never seen Gemstone Coast, and she would have never met the love of her life. She then giggled and tells Brandon he's funny. Then Brandon and Sunset Shimmer shared a long passionate kiss on the beach. The kiss lasted for about 30 seconds. After that, Sunset Shimmer told Brandon they should see how the water feels on their feet. They then both took off their shoes, and they were both barefoot. Later, Brandon and Sunset Shimmer headed out of Gemstone and towards Sparkle Park. When they got there, the man asked the two if they would like to enter, and Brandon said yes they would. The man let them enter, and once they were inside the park, the first thing they rode was the Ferris Wheel. Brandon was kind of frightened by the height, and Sunset Shimmer told Brandon that there's nothing to worry about, and that she's holding his hand. He looked down, and Sunset Shimmer kissed Brandon passionately until the ride was over. They then went on the Sparkle Coaster next, and Brandon told her that he's probably going to scream on it if there's a drop. She asked him if he would put his hands in the air, and he told her No because he'll be holding on to the safety bar. They then went on to the ride, and when the ride started, Brandon was kind of nervous. Then they went down the drop, and Brandon was screaming and holding on tightly to the safety bar, while Sunset Shimmer had her hands up in the air, while saying Woohoo! After the ride ended, and they entered the picture purchase room, and Sunset Shimmer loved the way Brandon looked in the picture, and she just had to buy it. She then goes up to the counter where behind it was a woman who asked them if they'd like it in a frame, and Brandon immediately recognized the woman to be Adagio Dazzle. The woman denied it and said that she has no idea who that is. Sunset Shimmer asks how Brandon knows her, and Brandon reminds her of how they're movie characters in his world, and Adagio Dazzle is one of them. Sunset Shimmer then remembers, and then gets a closer look at the woman, and admits that she does resemble Adagio Dazzle a lot. Then the woman admits that she is Adagio Dazzle, and that ever since The Rainbooms beat them in that Battle of the Bands, they disbanded the Sirens and dropped out of Canterlot High. She then explains that she just decided to move to another city, and the closest city to Equestria City is Station Circle, so she decided to get a job at Sparkle Park. Brandon then asks what happened to the other two, and Adagio says that she has no idea, and that After they disbanded the Sirens, she parted ways with Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, and they haven't seen each other since. Adagio then says she doesn't like to talk about it, and then asks again if they would like their picture in a frame, and Sunset Shimmer says yes. She then says it's 20 dollars, and Sunset Shimmer pays for it. They get their picture from Adagio, and then they saw the Bumper Cars and went on those, after they did that, Sunset Shimmer asked Brandon what ride they should go on next, and Brandon was looking at the Tunnel of Love, and Sunset Shimmer asked what he was looking at, and then she saw what ride he was looking at, and says she knows which one they'll go on next. They then go on the Tunnel of Love. When they got on, and once they entered the Tunnel, Sunset Shimmer asked Brandon if he knows what they're supposed to do once they're in the Tunnel of Love, and Brandon Blushed bright red and said No. Then Sunset Shimmer shows him, and brought Brandon to her face and kissed him passionately. Brandon kissed her back, and they kissed until they exited the Tunnel of Love, which is when the ride ended. They exited the ride. "That was so romantic, don't you think so Brandon?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Yeah! Totally Babe!" Brandon said. Sunset Shimmer blushed really red from Brandon calling her that. She then asked, Okay, where do you want to go next Brandon?" "Oh, there's a ring toss game over there, and you can win prizes from it! I'm pretty good at that, So I'll try to win you a prize!" Brandon said. "Aw Brandon!That's so sweet! I'd really love that." They then walk over to the booth. When they get over there, Brandon asks, "Hi! How much to play?" Then the man says, "It's 3 dollars for each game. Wait a minute, are you two a cute couple?" "Yeah, we totally are! Why?" Brandon asked. "Well, because, not only do Cute couples get free admission, but they ALSO get to play all games for free! So you can play as many games as you want for free!" The man said. "Woah! That's Fre-Flipping Epic! Well then I'd like to try and win a prize for my awesome girlfriend here, Sunset Shimmer." Brandon said. "Oh, Brandon you're so sweet." Sunset Shimmer said, and gave Brandon a kiss on the cheek. The man said, "I can definitely tell that you two are Truly in love. I don't think anything could ever change that." "Yes, I could never stop loving Brandon until the day I die." Sunset Shimmer said. "Yeah, same here all the way. Oh yeah, could I get my rings now?" Brandon asked. "Of Course Brandon." The man said, and then got out three rings and gave them to Brandon. He then said, "Make all three rings on to one of those cones, and you win your prize, it couldn't be simpler. If you make one ring, you'll get a small prize, if you get two rings, you'll get the medium one. And if you get all three, then you get the large prize. 3, 2, 1, Throw!" Brandon then threw the first ring, which missed, and then the second one, which also missed, and then the third one, which made it on to the cone. "Okay, I guess I'm not really the best at ring tossing." Brandon said. "You know what, usually, you would have to pick a small prize, but after I saw how madly in love you two are, I'm gonna go ahead and let you choose a large prize." The man said. "Whoa Really? Dang that's like so nice of you!" Brandon said. "It's my treat because of how strong your love is for Sunset Shimmer, and how strong hers is for you. Go ahead And choose a large prize." The man said. "Well Alright then! Okay Sunset, which prize do you want?" Brandon asked. Out of the large prizes, there was a Panda Bear, a Lion, A Dolphin, A Swan, and an Elephant. "I think Swans are very romantic, so how about the Swan?" Sunset Shimmer said. "Okay, the Swan it is then! That's the one I'll be getting for her." Brandon said. "Well actually Brandon, it's not just for me. It's for the both of us. It's to symbolize our love." Sunset Shimmer said. "Okay Sunset, that's even better." Brandon said. "Okay, so it's the Swan you want? Okay then!" The man said, and then got his stool, and stood on it and grabbed the Swan. He then gave Brandon and Sunset Shimmer the Swan. He said, "Here you go!" "Thanks!" Brandon said. "Anytime! You two keep that love of yours strong!" The man said. "We definitely will!" Brandon said, and they both walked away from the booth, and they saw a nearby bench and Brandon said, "Hey Sunset, here's a bench. Let's sit down and take a quick rest." "Okay Brandon." Sunset Shimmer said, and Brandon sat down at the bench and Sunset Shimmer sat next to him. She then asked, "Hey Brandon, what time is it?" Then Brandon got his phone out of his pocket and looked at his phone which said, "7:30 Saturday September 23" "It's 7:30! That means Maud will be here to pick us up in a half an hour from now!" Brandon said. "Well Brandon, maybe I could pay for dinner for us in the park. Sound good?" Sunset Shimmer said. "Yeah, totally! I call dibs on Corn Dog!" Brandon said. "Dibs?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Uh, never mind. I want a Corn Dog and Fries, and then I want to have Blue Cotton Candy. I was hoping you would have Cotton Candy too, you know, the pink one, so we would each be able to have Cotton Candy, and both of us could get one of the flavors." Brandon said. "Okay Brandon. You can get a Corn Dog and Fries, and We can both get Cotton Candy." Sunset Shimmer said, and they both walked to the food court, which was just up ahead. When Brandon saw the menu for one of the food stands, American Food Dream, He saw that one of the items on there was "Chili Cheese Fries", and Brandon said, "Oh My Gosh! They have Chili Cheese Fries here?? Hey Sunset! Forget Corn Dog and Fries! I'm having Chili Cheese Fries! I did NOT know they would have those here!!" Brandon said. "Okay Okay Brandon Chill out. Is that your favorite food or something?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Oh yeah it is! Chili Cheese Fries are Amazing!" Brandon said. "Well, I don't think I've ever had them before. Why exactly do you like them?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Oh, I'll tell you EXACTLY why I love Chili Cheese Fries! I have loved Chili Cheese Fries ever since I first had them at Carl's Jr.! And I always love to try different versions from other places!" Brandon said. "Let me guess. Carl's Jr. Is a restaurant from your world, correct?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Yup! That's exactly right!" Brandon said. "Well, Let's go to American Food Dream to get you some Chili Cheese Fries, and I guess I'll get something from here too." Sunset Shimmer said. They then waited in line at American Food Dream and when it was their turn, The man asked, "Hello! How may I help you today?" "Hi. I would like to order the Chili Cheese Fries for my boyfriend, and I'll be having a Philly Cheese Steak with Fries. "Okay, the Chili Cheese Fries are $7.95, and the Philly Cheese Steak with Fries is $4.70, so the total amount comes to... $12.65!" The man said. "Okay. No Problem." Sunset Shimmer said, and then took out a 10 dollar bill, two 1 dollar bills, two quarters, one dime, and one nickel. She then gave it to the man. "Here you go. $12.65." Sunset Shimmer said. "Thanks! We will be calling your name when your order is ready. What is it?" The man asked. "Use both my name and my boyfriend's name. Brandon and Sunset." Sunset Shimmer said. "Okay..." The man said then wrote that down. He then said, "Your order should be ready in a few minutes!" "Okay, Thanks! Come on Brandon." Sunset Shimmer said, and they sat down in the bench that was right in front of American Food Dream. Later... "Brandon and Sunset! Order is ready for Brandon and Sunset! Chili Cheese Fries and Philly Cheese Steak with Fries!" The man called from the counter. "Hey Brandon, that's our order." Sunset Shimmer said. "Okay, let's go!" Brandon said. They then went to go grab their food. Brandon grabbed his Chili Cheese Fries which were in a food basket covered by a white thin paper cloth. Sunset Shimmer then grabbed her Philly Cheese Steak and Fries. "Thanks!" Brandon said. "You are very welcome! Have a nice night!" The man said. Then Brandon and Sunset sat at the bench they were at before. And Brandon started eating his Chili Cheese Fries with his fork. "Oh Wow, I just noticed, these are Steak Fries, and they're covered in Chili and Nacho Cheese! That's like, WAY better!" Brandon said. Sunset Shimmer giggled and said, "Okay Brandon. Well after we eat, we'll get our Cotton Candy and eat it on the way out of the park to go wait for Maud. Sound good?" "Yup! Just perfect!" Brandon said, and continued to eat his Chili Cheese Fries, and he accidentally spilled some Nacho Cheese on his shirt. Sunset Shimmer saw this and said, "Uh, Brandon? I think you spilled a bit of cheese on your shirt." Brandon looked at his shirt and said, "Oh, that's okay! I can just do this!" He then Wiped the Nacho Cheese with his finger and ate it. Sunset Shimmer giggled and said, "Oh Brandon, you are SO funny!" "Well, I couldn't just leave it on my shirt like that. The only thing I can think of to get rid of it is to eat it." Brandon said. Brandon then got out his phone and checked the time and it said, "7:48" Well, it's 7:48 now Sunset. I'm guessing that Maud is on her way right now, since it's about a 20 minute drive from Equestria City to Station Circle. So I gotta hurry and finish these!" Brandon said, and then finished his last few Chili Cheese covered Fries. After that, Brandon started scraping the Chili and Nacho Cheese and ate it. Sunset Shimmer had already finished her Philly Cheese Steak and Fries. "Uh, Brandon? What are you doing?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Oh, I'm just scraping out the Chili and Cheese. I ALWAYS do that." Brandon said. Sunset Shimmer giggled and said, "Okay Brandon. If you say so." Then Brandon finished and said, "Okay, I'm done! I'm ready to get Cotton Candy now!" "Usually, I would make you wait for your stomach to settle, but since we have to be out in the front of the park in about 10 minutes or less, I'll let it slide." Sunset Shimmer said. "Okay, let's go. I'm getting blue and you're getting pink, right?" Brandon asked. "Yes Brandon." Sunset Shimmer said. Then they walked up to the Sweet Cotton Dreams Cotton Candy Stand, and when their turn came, Sunset Shimmer said, "Hi. I'd like one Blue Cotton Candy and One Pink Cotton Candy please." Then the man behind the counter said, "Sure! I'll make it for you!" And then he made the Blue and Pink Cotton Candy and then put them both in the skinny white cones for them. "Here you go!" He said as he handed them their Cotton Candy. "Thanks Man!" Brandon said. "Anytime!" The man said. And then Brandon looked at his phone and looked at the time which said, "7:53" "Hey Sunset. It's 7:53." Brandon said. "Okay Brandon. Let's head out to the front to wait for Maud then." Sunset Shimmer said, and they both walked out to the front of the park, while at the same time eating their Cotton Candy. Brandon was eating the Cotton Candy quickly. They finally made it out of the park, and the man from the entrance said, "So, How did you enjoy your time in Sparkle Park?" "It was Awesome!" Brandon said. "It definitely was amazing." Sunset Shimmer said. "Well, I'm glad you two enjoyed it! Come back again anytime!" The man in the entrance said. Brandon looked at his phone which now said, "7:59" He said, "Well it's 7:59 now. Maud should be here any moment now." "I really did enjoy our date, Brandon." Sunset Shimmer said. "Yeah, I did too. I think my favorite part was when we kissed in the Tunnel of Love." Brandon said. "Yeah, I liked that a lot too. I also loved when we rode the Sparkle Coaster! You were screaming like crazy! Not to mention we actually found out how Adagio Dazzle disbanded the Sirens." Sunset Shimmer said. "Yeah, I was screaming like crazy on that for sure. And it DEFINITELY was pretty shocking to find out that Adagio Dazzle disbanded the Sirens." Brandon said. "Yeah..." Sunset Shimmer said. Brandon then looked at his phone, which now said, "8:00" "Well, it's 8:00 now. Maud should be here in any second." Brandon said, and right when he did, Maud pulled up in front of Sparkle Park, right in front of where Brandon and Sunset Shimmer are. They then got into the van, once again in the very back. Then Maud asked blandly, "So, how was it?" "It was awesome! We did a ton of fun stuff! We rode the Ferris Wheel, the Sparkle Coaster, the Bumper Cars, the Tunnel of Love, and I won an awesome prize for Sunset Shimmer, which is right here next to her and is a Swan! Well, I kind of won it. But basically it's for both of us, you know, a symbol of our love." Brandon said. "Oh. Interesting." Maud Pie said. She then started driving out of Station Circle, and Sunset Shimmer put her head on Brandon's shoulder. Later, they arrived back at Pinkie Pie's house. Brandon and Sunset Shimmer went into the house while Sunset Shimmer was holding their Swan. When they walked in, they saw the others in the living room, and Pinkie Pie asked, "Ooh Ooh! You're back! Sooo how was it? Huh huh? What did you do?" "Oh, I'll tell you! Well first, we went on the Ferris Wheel, then we rode the Sparkle Coaster, where I screamed like Crazy, and then we went on the Bumper Cars, and then we went into the Tunnel of Love, and then I won us both a Swan, and then I got to have these AMAZING tasting Chili Cheese Fries in the food court. And some Cotton Candy." Brandon said. "Wooow!! That sounds like you two had sooo much fun!" Pinkie Pie said. "Yeah, we definitely did." Sunset Shimmer said, and gave Brandon a kiss on the cheek. "Oh, I just remembered! The day after tomorrow, Monday, is the day of the Fall Formal! Aren't we going to prepare for it or something?" Brandon asked. "Well Brandon Darling, Sunset Shimmer is going to be your date for the Fall Formal if I'm not mistaken, and she's going to need a beautiful dress for it. I'll have to work all day tomorrow to make her one." Rarity said. "Well what about me? I mean, I know I'm obviously not going to wear a dress since I'm technically a guy, but I actually don't own a tux, So Rarity, do you think that it would be possible for you to make me one? I mean, I know your specialty is dresses, but I DO need a tux." Brandon said. "Of Course Darling! Just because making dresses is my specialty, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be able to make you a tuxedo outfit. I will start on your tuxedo first thing in the morning, and Sunset Shimmer's dress as well. My dress making equipment is here since I'm Almost ALWAYS here on the weekends." Rarity said. "Well Thanks Rarity." Brandon said. "Anytime Darling!" Rarity said. "Well Sunset, I'm gonna go change into my pajamas. Be right back." Brandon said. "Okay Brandon." Sunset Shimmer said. Then Brandon got some pajamas out of his duffel bag, His once Office Depot shirt which was now just Navy Blue and his Black and White basketball shorts. He then went into the bathroom and changed into them. He then came out after he was done and said, "So Sunset, wanna stay up till Midnight with me again?" Brandon asked. "Of Course Brandon."
